RSCDS San Francisco Branch Scholarships
The San Francisco Branch Scholarship Fund is available to current members of the San Francisco Branch. The Scholarship Form details eligibility & contact information. To apply, download and fill out the Scholarship Application Form , then mail it to the address on the form. All RSCDS San Francisco Branch scholarships are confidential and are awarded at the discretion of RSCDS San Francisco Branch Scholarship Committee.
RSCDS Headquarters Funds & Scholarships
RSCDS Headquarters has numerous scholarship sources that may be available. Youth Scholarships are available to dancers under the age of 20 wishing to attend youth events, classes, schools or workshops run by any RSCDS branch worldwide. The Jean Milligan Memorial Fund is available to support Scottish Country Dancing events across the world. Find the JMMF Application Form and Guidelines here. International Branch Susi Mayr Fund Awards
The International Branch of the RSCDS's Susi Mayr Fund was set up to give support to any applicant whom the International Branch Committee decides should be given assistance that furthers the aims of the Branch. Examples include scholarships to enable dancers or newcomers to attend Scottish Country Workshops or events. The International Branch Web site details the aims of the Fund, types of past awards along with guidelines and where to submit letters of application. Local Branch Scholarship Funds
Your local RSCDS branch or dance community may have scholarship funds set aside for participation in dance events such as the Asilomar Weekend. Contact them directly for details.
Asilomar Work Exchange
In exchange for doing some work over the Weekend, recipients may receive a reduction in registration fees. A limited number of work exchanges are available. To apply, check the appropriate box on the Registration form (available July, 2024). Work exchange awards are made by Asilomar Committee.
