Welcome back Gary Thomas!

We're extremely pleased that Gary Thomas of Santa Rosa will be returning to the Asilomar Weekend where his teaching is always enjoyed! (1992, 1997, 2009).

Gary tells us that dancing has been a passion of his for as long as he can remember. His dancing career started in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with square and tap dancing! In 1977, after moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota, Scottish country dancing became his “new” favorite. His teaching certificate soon followed and he has been teaching ever since.

Most of Gary's teaching is local, although he has taught workshops in other states, as well as Canada, including TAC Summer School. Gary also teaches English country dance, and periodically Vintage dance, which includes Regency, Victorian, and Ragtime era ballroom dancing. We all look forward to having Gary on our teaching roster at Asilomar 2017!
