Its July Already!

We can't believe that its July already! We are heading into Summer and that means summer travel, Summer School, Highland Games and lots more. Here at the Asilomar Weekend, we'll be opening up our registration and merchandise pages very soon!

But wait! We wonder what you'll be doing this Fall? We know many dancers like to plan the workshops and weekends they'll attend months in advance, and with that in mind, we'd like to speak up for the San Francisco Branch's Asilomar Weekend, this coming October 26 - 28, 2018.

The good news is that we still have dancer places available. We have wonderful teachers and musicians prepping to teach and make music for us to dance to. So head to our apply online page for booking information and to apply.

This year's October dates offers some trip opportunities for attendees. If you are traveling from overseas or from a distance, do consider traveling early to acclimatize and get over jet lag. Some dancers like attend one or more of the Bay Area Ball Previews and local classes ahead of the Weekend, while others have arrived at Asilomar after visiting Las Vegas, touring Yosemite, driving down Highway 1 from Seattle or spending time in San Francisco. Some of our past attendees opt to arrive early and spend a few extra days at Asilomar, Pacific Grove or in the Bay Area, while others opt to relax at Asilomar after the Weekend.

For those who want to know more about the coastal weather, October at Asilomar is usually one of the nicest months to be there, with a lot of sun and mld temps (60-70's, F). There is minimal expectation of rain. We think it will be great weather for getting to and from dance classes, and strolling down to the beach and dipping your feet in the Pacific Ocean after class.

SO TAKE ACTION NOW!

Book your Asilomar Weekend experience now, while we still have dancer openings available! Non dancers of course, are always welcome.
