More Musicians

Lisa Doyle

Lisa Doyle (fiddle), Erik Ievins (cello and bass) and Donald Robertson (percusssion) will join Hood, Wink & Swagger at Asilomar Saturday night! Classically trained Lisa Doyle regularly plays with the Sonoma County Philharmonic and the Santa Rosa Sympathy. She is a member of The Amaryllis Trio and also plays violin for the Santa Rosa based River Choir. Lisa has delighted North Bay Country and Santa Rosa based Scottish country dancers with her fiddle playing.

Classically trained since he was old enough to hold a bow, Erik Ievins joined professional symphony and pops orchestras while still in high school and subsequently discovered the joy of fiddle music (on a cello!). He has been delighting dancers around the country. Erik plays cello and bass with the locally based dance band, StringFire.

Donald Robertson started his musical life playing triangle in his High School orchestra. He was soon playing percussion for community orchestras. After Kim McGarrity asked him to play for Scottish Country dance parties, his music interest took a sharp turn from classical to Scottish! Donald is now the percussionist for the Dunsmuir Scottish Dancers' performance Dance group and for the band, Fiddlesticks and Ivory. He has also performed with StringFire, and regularly plays with Thistle Glen in Sacramento.

We are delighted to welcome Lisa, Erik and Donald to the Asilomar Weekend this November!
