Now we are Six!
Summer is almost here! We can't believe that its June already and about time for fun summer activities. We do hope that you plan to join us at Asilomar. We presently still have dancer places available.
We are also thrilled to let you know that we've expanded our teaching faculty to a total of six. Terry Harvey of Wilmington, DE will join Sue Porter of Oban, Scotland, Mary Murray of Vancouver, BC, Fred DeMarse of Alameda, Chandi McCracken of Minneapolis, MN and Gary Thomas of Santa Rosa.
Terry started dancing with the RSCDS in 1983 while he was a student at the University of Delaware. He met his wife Line in a certificate class, took his Preliminary exam and began teaching in 1987. Terry received his Teaching Certificate in 1993. He has taught basic, intermediate, advanced and demonstration classes in the Delaware Valley. He has also enjoyed traveling and teaching workshops across the U.S., and last year, tried a week of mixed Scottish country dancing and scuba diving in Roatan, Honduras.
And to get you in the mood for dancing at Asilomar, here's a video of dancers having fun at Asilomar. And if you haven't applied yet, do Take Action!
